# Endlss — Full Overview

## What Endlss is

Endlss is a visual discovery web application. You start from any image and are shown a mosaic of thematically similar media. Selecting any image in that mosaic reveals a fresh mosaic of work similar to it, so exploration never dead-ends — it is an endless path of discovery rather than a fixed feed. Endlss is mobile-first and works as a progressive web app, with browser extensions for saving content from around the web.

## The five similarity dimensions

Every image can be explored along five independent dimensions, each surfaced as a tab on the explore view:

- **Visual** — CLIP image-embedding similarity. Images with similar subject, composition, or style sit close together in a 512-dimension embedding space, so this finds work that simply *looks* related.
- **Colour** — Dominant-palette matching. Each image stores its top dominant colours; this dimension finds images that share a palette.
- **Tags** — Shared taxonomy tags. Images are tagged (subject, theme, style), and this dimension finds work that shares those tags.
- **Prompt** — Generation-prompt similarity. For AI-generated images that carry a prompt, this compares the embeddings of those prompts to find work made with related intent.
- **Name** — Filename and title text similarity. A lightweight text match over titles and filenames.

## How exploration works

Pick an image, see a mosaic of similar images, pick another, and continue. Switch dimensions at any time to pivot from "looks similar" to "same colours" to "same theme". There is no end state — every image is a doorway to more.

## Collections

Users build named collections of images, set a cover, and choose whether a collection is public. Public collections can be discovered, followed, saved, and liked by other users. Endlss also publishes its own curated collections under the "Endlss" account, which appear and behave like any other creator's collections. Collections can be browsed on the discover surface and filtered by theme.

## AI generation

Endlss can generate media as well as surface it:

- **Image generation** — text-to-image (describe what you want) and image-to-image (start from an existing image).
- **Video generation** — image-to-video (animate a starting image).

Generation is available to subscribers, with model and length options that vary by plan.

## Content and maturity policy

Endlss hosts a broad range of creative work. Mature (NSFW) content is supported but gated: users must opt in, and it is hidden and blurred by default. Content guidelines govern what is permitted.
